Maserati, road test for camouflaged prototypes

Road tests continue on some camouflaged prototypes of the GranTurismo, GranCabrio and Grecale. This was announced directly by Maserati. The prototypes were photographed in Modena near the historic Maserati plant on Viale Ciro Menotti, the true beating heart of the Trident house, where all the models in the range are set up and developed by the brand’s engineering team.

New Maserati tests

The Modena area offers several interesting routes, ranging from city streets to hilly roads, including provincial roads and highways. Maserati has defined them as “particularly suitable for testing cars, in different usage conditions, by professional testers”. The goal? To collect fundamental data and information that will allow the optimal final tuning.

Multi-energy future

Regardless of these new models, Maserati’s strategy for the future seems clear. It was outlined at the end of last year by CEO Santo Ficili, who spoke of corrections to the fully electric path with a return to a multi-energy approach, defining this step as “sustainable, exciting and oriented towards customer choices”. On the other hand, the Modena-based company has never focused on a single solution, as Ficili also explained: “Our offer is complete, from hybrid to BEV. The Folgore line is authentically Maserati: we are the only ones to boast it in the luxury sector.”
