+500 thousand viewers compared to 2025
All the conditions were there last weekend for a good result in terms of TV ratings for the Miami GP of F1. The Circus had been stopped for more than a month, the last two races had been won by an Italian driver, and the weather also led to a three-hour advance of the start from 22:00 to 19:00, an advance that also affected the delayed broadcast on TV8 which started at 22:10 instead of 23:30.
Andrea Kimi Antonelli did not disappoint expectations and scored a hat-trick. The Miami GP on Sky was watched by 1.4 million viewers, 200 thousand more than the 2025 edition in which Max Verstappen unsuccessfully tried to resist the very fast McLarens. On TV8 the delayed broadcast recorded 1.1 million viewers instead of the 862 thousand in 2025, so in total the audience was 2.5 million viewers, half a million more compared to the 2025 figure.
As highlighted by p300.it, however, the data remain far from 2022 when there was a Ferrari leading the World Championship with Charles Leclerc: then the total audience was 3.4 million viewers, almost a million more than last Sunday.
