Hyundai redefines the onboard experience with Pleos Connect, a new next-generation infotainment system that represents a first step towards software-defined vehicles (SDV). It will be launched in May as a technological starting point and will make its debut in Korea on the new generation Hyundai GRANDEUR. Subsequently, it will also be progressively introduced globally. The Korean group’s strategy aims to evolve the interaction with the car in an increasingly digital way, transforming the cabin into a true “hub” with connected and updatable functions over time.

Hyundai chooses Pleos Connect
From a usability perspective, the interface combines a large central screen, an advanced slim display, and physical buttons. A mix designed to make driving more comfortable and safe, offering immediate control of functions without relying exclusively on touch menus. Navigation also takes a leap forward thanks to advanced data-based guidance, with online maps and integration with Gleo AI, the integrated agent based on a large language model. Gleo AI thus enables voice control of vehicle functions, more comprehensive navigation assistance, and the ability to search for information directly in the car, making the experience smoother and more natural.

Artificial intelligence in the spotlight
Finally, Pleos Connect extends the entertainment ecosystem with the App Market, designed as an open platform for music, video, and web browsing, in continuity with smartphone use. Among the first models in Europe to adopt Pleos Connect is the IONIQ 3, which positions itself as a benchmark for the European market debut. Looking to the future, by 2030 the group aims to implement Pleos Connect on about 20 million vehicles across Hyundai, KIA, and Genesis.
