The 2026 Superbike season is just beginning, but there is no doubt that Nicolò Bulega is the absolute dominator of this championship. Always on pole and on the top step of the podium in the first two rounds, the Ducati rider aims to become world champion after the challenges lost against his former rival Toprak Razgatlioglu. In his experience in Superbike, a category in which he has collected three world titles, the current Pramac rider had repeatedly stated the dream of one day entering the MotoGP World Championship, until he realized it after last season’s success. Negotiations underway

The hope of the Emilia native is to be able to enter MotoGP already in 2027, with the 26-year-old himself admitting that he is already in talks with some teams, although without naming any: “Honestly, at the moment I can’t tell you more, because we are just waiting to see what will happen with the big names in MotoGP – he explained to the official Superbike channels – but my dream has always been, since I was a child, to go to MotoGP, like every rider. At the moment I am very, very happy here in Superbike, but the dream remains the same. We are talking with some teams in MotoGP, with my manager, and we will see very soon what I will do next year“.

If he actually joins MotoGP in 2027, it would be another step forward in Bulega’s career after six years spent in the World Championship between Moto3 and Moto2 from 2016 to 2021. Then moving to Supersport in 2022, he won the title the following year, before starting his stint in Superbike.
