Agreement between Stellantis and Microsoft
Specifically, Stellantis and Microsoft are developing over 100 artificial intelligence initiatives along the entire value chain, from customer care to development and operations. Objectives include the development and validation of AI-based products, predictive maintenance, and more advanced testing activities, as well as a faster deployment of new digital features and services. Through insights generated from secure and encrypted data, the group strengthens its commitment to putting the customer at the center.
Cybersecurity among the priorities
The partnership also includes a quality leap on the cybersecurity front: Stellantis will implement and manage a global AI-based center, extended to IT systems, connected vehicles, production plants, and digital products. This end-to-end approach allows anticipating and detecting threats more quickly through advanced analytics, ensuring consistent protection for connected services and customer data, and strengthening resilience and response capabilities on a global scale.

In parallel, to ensure fast and reliable digital experiences, the group is also modernizing its infrastructure with Microsoft Azure, aiming to reduce data center impact by 60% by 2029. Completing the picture, the Italian-French company will continue to work jointly with Microsoft and other certified partners, while employees will have access to enterprise AI tools: currently available are Copilot Chat and an initial launch of 20,000 Microsoft 365 Copilot licenses, supported by dedicated training to effectively apply artificial intelligence in daily work.
