Steiner’s career
In the 2016 season, the Italian-American manager Günther Steiner entered the world of Formula 1 as Team Principal of Haas, maintaining this role until 2023. Steiner’s experience, however, changed radically in 2025, the year in which the manager moved from four to two wheels with the acquisition of Tech3 in MotoGP.

Emotions in MotoGP
A transition that particularly impressed him, especially after seeing the riders’ skills up close, as he recently praised in an interview with the official MotoGP website: “For me, MotoGP is something new – explained Hervé Poncharal’s successor – I think it is one of the most exciting sports in the world, if not the most exciting. When you enter this world, you are always surprised by how competitive it is and the enormous influence the rider has on the races. It’s incredible. The highs and lows that can occur depend on the rider.”

“I think they are very different because, in my opinion, you have to be different to do what they do – he continued on the characteristics of MotoGP riders – I mean, what these guys do with the bike is incredible, you know? We all think we know how to ride a bike, but when you see what they do, it’s not about riding a bike. It’s about riding a bike at a very high level. And you see it on television. Imagine being there doing the same thing they do. For me, as a human being, it’s impossible. So I realize the risks they have to take. They fall, they get back up and they race again. It takes a special drive to do this. For now, I’m more than happy.”
