The new Cupra Raval debuts. A 100% electric vehicle that the Spanish manufacturer does not define as “a simple city car”, but rather “a radical interpretation of the urban electric car, designed for those who demand more from every journey, demonstrating that electric vehicles can offer design, performance, and emotions in equal measure”. In concrete terms, it is a small EV that stands out for its attractive design and electrifying performance, offering the agility and performance of a sedan with the space and versatility of cars from higher segments.

The new Cupra Raval debuts
With a length of only 4 meters, it combines urban dynamism with a surprisingly spacious interior and a practical, large trunk. Designed, developed, and produced in Barcelona, the new Raval is based on the new MEB+ platform. The Spanish automaker has announced that the car will be launched in the summer of 2026 with a starting price for the base model of approximately 26.000 euros.
Four trim levels
To make the range more appealing, Cupra will offer it in four trim levels, four engine options, and two battery packs. The base Raval versions combine a front motor of approximately 116 hp with a 37 kWh lithium-iron-phosphate battery, for a declared range of about 300 km. Charging takes place at a maximum power of 90 kW, allowing a 10-80% charge to be reached in 27 minutes. The Plus and Endurance versions deliver 135 hp and 211 hp respectively. On the latter, it is also possible to opt for a 52 kWh nickel-manganese-cobalt battery, which brings the declared range to approximately 450 km. The maximum charging power reaches 130 kW.

Prices from 26.000 euros
At the top of the range is the Raval VZ. This version is equipped with the 52 kWh battery pack, which brings the engine power to 226 hp, transmitted to the front wheels through an electronic self-locking differential. This translates into acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 7 seconds and a top speed of 174 km/h. With the increased power also comes a reduced range, from about 450 km to about 400 km.
