MotoGP, Bezzecchi seeks revenge in Austria
The crash at Misano was really not what was needed, and Marco Bezzecchi knows it very well. That slide in front of his fans risks being the end of his world championship dreams, and it would be a shame for a rider who is constantly riding through the pain after the crashes at Assen and Sachsenring.

Bezzecchi is called to redeem himself at the Austrian GP, but he is aware that he will start as an underdog. The numbers say that Ducati is almost unbeatable at the Red Bull Ring (10 wins out of 12 since 2016), plus Marc Marquez won as a protagonist in 2025. Here, however, just last year Bez secured pole position: so, underdog yes, but not beaten.
Bezzecchi’s words
“From Misano you have to take the positive and understand why I fell. I reviewed the data and, unfortunately, I made a small mistake. But there were many good things and I take them, first of all the speed: in my opinion we had a decent weekend, so it should not be forgotten“, this is Bezzecchi’s comment to Sky Sport MotoGP.

“The fact that Ducati has almost always won recently in Austria does not change my approach. On paper the balance of power is that, but in the end it doesn’t worry me too much: I will try to do my part, working with the team“, he added. “This, then, is a track I really like. I have made some podiums and won in Moto2 and Moto3“.
In the riders’ standings, Martin is at 274 points together with Marc Marquez, but the reigning world champion is preferred having obtained more wins. At -33 is Marco Bezzecchi, eager for redemption after the crash at Misano.
