Test with the MCL-HY in Algarve for Norris
Lando Norris in Madrid after the feat in Qualifying tasted bitterness due to a Virtual Safety Car that took away the reigning world champion’s third win of the season. The English driver, however, was able to immediately put this disappointment behind him by testing the McLaren MCL-HY Hypercar which will debut in the WEC in 2027.
“First of all, a big thank you to the McLaren Hypercar Team for letting me drive the MCL-HY – said Norris – it was great of them to give me the opportunity to have some fun and try something new. I believe we also gathered some valuable data, and I hope I was able to provide a range of different perspectives that can be useful to the team.”
