Citroen Classic Tour, the first edition is a success

With over 107 years of history, Citroen decided to celebrate the many cars that have marked its journey with the first edition of the Classic Tour. At the Parc André Citroen in Paris, the French brand together with L’Aventure Citroen presented nine historic models on the occasion of equally significant anniversaries. The event turned into a true showcase of memory: each car, with its own character and heritage, told a piece of the brand’s identity, from the most famous models to those that helped make the brand a point of reference for generations of enthusiasts.

The highlight of the day was an extraordinary parade through the streets of Paris, which brought together nearly thirty collectors and their cars. Among the protagonists, the legendary 2CV, the versatile Méhari, and the iconic Traction Avant, capable of evoking emotion and amazement even in those seeing them for the first time. Designed as a gathering marked by conviviality and shared passion, the Citroen Classic Tour aims to become an annual event, a moment eagerly awaited by all those who love the heritage of the Double Chevron brand and wish to experience its history “on the road.”

A history of success

“We are one of the few car manufacturers that can count on over 107 years of history. Celebrating this heritage means paying tribute to the iconic models and innovations that, generation after generation, have shaped the identity of our brand,” commented Xavier Chardon, CEO of Citroën. Adding: “It is also an opportunity to reaffirm what, from the very beginning, distinguishes our DNA: making mobility accessible to everyone, staying close to people’s needs and, at the same time, offering unparalleled comfort and distinctive design.”
