Ferrari in pole position at Austin
Ferrari secured pole position in the Qualifying of the 6 Hours of Austin. At COTA Antonio Giovinazzi achieved the exact same time to the thousandth as Cadillac #38 of Jack Aitken, but the 499P #51 will start ahead of everyone because it set the time before the English driver.

Antonio Giovinazzi: “An important pole position for our championship and for the starting position in the race. It was an intense qualifying, with constantly changing wind conditions. Antonello Coletta: “We are very happy with the performance, being in pole position at Austin for the third consecutive time is a great satisfaction. We know that the start on this track is always dangerous because the first corner is tricky, so starting in front is an additional advantage. It’s a pity only for car number 50 which, after a great first part of qualifying, had less grip in Hyperpole and finished only fifth, although it definitely deserved a better placement. Tomorrow in the race tire management will be important and we will do everything possible to be consistent.”
