Renault enhances the offer of Scenic E-Tech Electric with new equipment and services designed to improve comfort, connectivity, and electric performance. This was announced by the Losange company itself, talking about improvements that touch many aspects of the battery SUV. Starting with the battery itself: the new 89 kWh NMC unit now offers up to 642 km of WLTP range and better charging performance, with fast DC charging to go from 15 to 80% in 28 minutes.

Renault has already announced that the 67 kWh LFP Comfort Range battery will be marketed at a later time, offering up to 467 km of WLTP range and ensuring fast DC charging that is in turn 25% better, with charging from 15 to 80% in 24 minutes. This battery uses the cell-to-pack architecture introduced with the new Megane E-Tech Electric, features 232 closely packed pouch cells, a world first, which allow reaching a filling rate of 53%, with advantages in terms of range and efficiency. Fast charging also improves, with a peak DC power of 165 kW.

The news is not only technical. In the Techno trim, for example, the front seats and rear bench adopt a new TEP fabric composed of over 95% recycled fibers, combined with a granular coated fabric composed of at least 12% recycled material. The design has been revised to improve comfort and support, while the dashboard is covered with carbon black granular coated fabric enhanced by a flash-shaped lightning stitch. The Esprit Alpine trim, on the other hand, stands out for the new “titanium” effect decorative inserts, which are now composed of at least 75% recycled materials.

Prices from 32,500 euros
Externally, the new Scenic E-Tech Electric is now available in seven body colors, including two new ones such as Satin Ardesia Blue and Galaxy Gray. In addition, the front and rear bumper blades feature a glossy black finish. Finally, the offer is enriched by new 19” wheels with a new design, while the aerodynamic covers mounted on the wheels are composed of at least 72% recycled materials. Completing the overview are the new driver assistance devices and new customization features designed to improve onboard comfort and safety, as well as a wide range of accessories for families and pets. Scenic E-Tech Electric will be available starting from 32,500 euros.
