“Monza and Madrid mark the beginning of an important period for us – Wolff’s words – the values on track have come closer to the point that several teams can win based solely on their performance, making mistakes means paying a high price. We are well placed in both championships, but the whole team knows that the next races will be difficult.”
“For us, Monza starts with a challenge – Wolff added – Kimi will receive a penalty related to the power unit and will start from the back of the grid. It is disappointing for him and for the fans who would like to see him fight in the top positions in his home race, but in F1 there is no room for feelings and we have to make this sacrifice thinking about the championship. The goal now is clear: to recover as many positions as possible and maximize points. On the other side of the garage, George comes with good momentum after Zandvoort and will try to decisively join the fight from the start of the weekend.”

“Monza is a circuit that requires a lot of energy; most of the lap is spent exploiting the power unit to the maximum and there are not many opportunities to recharge the battery. With the current regulations, this involves compromises that will have to be managed carefully. It is an interesting challenge, which will probably lead to an exciting weekend”, Wolff concluded.
