Another zero
While Marc Marquez celebrates on the podium for the victory just achieved in the Aragon Sprint, Francesco Bagnaia sadly returns to the Ducati garage after crossing the finish line in 11th position, out of the points in Saturday’s race for the second consecutive time after Silverstone.

The crisis for the three-time world champion is endless and also seems difficult to explain technically since Ducati not only won the race with Marquez, but also placed three bikes in the top-6, with Alex Marquez second and Aldeguer sixth. After the progress made in the morning, Bagnaia has sunk back into difficulties.
Dall’Igna annoyed
The critical situation of Pecco, who as known will leave Ducati at the end of the year to join Aprilia, was made even more evident by the – decidedly brief – words given to Sky Sport MotoGP by Ducati’s general manager Gigi Dall’Igna. “Now we have to talk to him, it’s clear that we are facing a moment of difficulty – commented the Venetian engineer – we need to try to stay united and get through it“.

After achieving four consecutive podiums and winning the Brno Sprint, Bagnaia has returned to a negative spiral of performance and results: from Assen onwards the Chivasso rider has collected just 16 points in three and a half rounds, with four Sprints and three GPs raced so far. A tally that eerily recalls the disastrous performance at the end of 2025.
