According to Riccardo Patrese, the British driver has what it takes to come back, but it will be difficult to beat Andrea Kimi Antonelli because the Italian is regularly scoring points.
“I think Lando is definitely a better driver this year – said Patrese reached by Betpack – he seems more relaxed and more confident. He knows he can win and that’s why he is doing a great job. In the last two races, in my opinion, he has been absolutely the best. Mercedes is obviously the favorite, but there is still a long way to go this season. We know from experience, since last year he was far behind Oscar, that Lando was able to catch up and become champion. So, you never know, but at the moment, Antonelli is the strongest candidate for the world title.”

“The second half of the season promises to be very exciting and we will witness spectacular races – added Patrese – as for the world championship, however, it will be very difficult to beat Antonelli because he has a good points margin and does not make mistakes, he drives with his head. Reliability can also be a decisive factor, but at the current state of things, Antonelli is the favorite for the title.”
