The three-year period at HRC Honda ends

The 29-year-old, after three seasons spent at HRC Honda, will thus join Tech3 from 2027, in a world championship that will coincide with the introduction of new regulations in MotoGP and with the new phase of the partnership between the team and KTM. Awaiting his entry into the team at the end of this championship, Günther Steiner, CEO of Tech3, wanted to welcome his future rider: “Luca is a rider we have been closely following and we are very pleased to welcome him to Tech3 starting from 2027. He brings with him great experience, but also the right mentality and approach for what we are building here. 2027 will be a major turning point for MotoGP, so having a rider who can contribute to our progress in this new era will be crucial. Luca knows how to work at this level, whether it’s collaborating with engineers, developing the bike, or pushing to the limit in difficult circumstances. Tech3’s Team Manager, Nicolas Goyon, also enthusiastically commented on Marini’s entry into the team: “We are very happy that Luca is joining us from 2027.
