PV5 is the best-selling medium-sized electric commercial vehicle in Europe in the first half of the year. KIA reiterates this with great satisfaction, explaining that the model reached a 37% share of the eLCV market in the C segment in Europe in the first six months of 2026 thanks to 13,116 units sold. All this in a market context favorable to the segment: sales of 100% electric vans have indeed increased in Europe by 37.5% year-on-year, reaching a market share of 13.9%, compared to 10.2% recorded in the first half of 2025.

KIA PV5 grows in Europe
Returning to PV5, it was the number one electric van in 12 countries, including Germany (2,206 units) and the United Kingdom (3,361 units). Considering all powertrains, it was instead the best-selling in
Denmark (1,222 units), the Netherlands (1,196 units), Norway (739 units), and Sweden (1,414 units). An important result for a commercial vehicle that makes versatility one of its main strengths. Indeed, we recall that KIA PV5 is available in Cargo, Passenger, and Chassis Cab variants for companies and private customers.
Versatility in first place
“The customer response to the introduction of PV5 in Europe has been extraordinary, not only in terms of sales volumes but also in the way PV5 is adding new value in the fields of mobility, professional use, and specialized transport,” said Sjoerd Knipping, Chief Operating Officer of KIA Europe. And he concluded: “KIA’s PBV strategy goes beyond the vehicle itself, with a fully integrated ecosystem that combines software, services, ownership, and flexibility, supported by a dedicated service network.”
