Wednesday, August 5 and Thursday, August 6 were scheduled for two days of tests for the 850cc MotoGP bikes on the Italian track of Mugello.

As reported, the first day ended with the best time by Nakagami (Honda) in 1’47.2, ahead of Bulega (Ducati) 1’47.3, Savadori (Aprilia) 1’48.0, Pol Espargarò (KTM) 1’48.5, and Pedrosa (KTM) 1’48.7.

Day 2 Results

The colleagues at GpOne reported the great time of Nicolò Bulega on the Ducati, who stopped the clocks at 1’45.859, just under two seconds from the pole time of Marco Bezzecchi obtained at the end of May with obviously lower temperatures.

The gap to the rest of the group was important, with Nakagami (Honda) stopping at 1.2 seconds and Savadori (Aprilia) at 1.9 seconds. Even further back was Dani Pedrosa’s KTM, the only one on track for the Austrian brand, since Pol Espargarò joined Tech3 for the MotoGP race scheduled at Silverstone.
