Electric mobility in Italy and Finland

The resources made available by the EIB will allow Drivalia to introduce about 2,900 new battery electric vehicles into the territory, intended for companies and freelancers through long-term rental contracts in both countries involved. According to EIB estimates, the project will help reduce greenhouse gas emissions by about 3,000 tons of CO2 per year compared to an equivalent fleet composed of conventional vehicles with internal combustion engines.

The initiative is part of Drivalia’s expansion path, active in 16 European countries with a fleet of about 216,000 vehicles. The company offers a complete range of mobility solutions – from rentals of various durations to monthly subscriptions, up to electric car sharing – with integrated management of the different lines designed to allocate vehicles to the most suitable services during their usage cycle. The operation confirms the strategies of the EIB, the EU’s “climate bank”, and the Crédit Agricole Auto Bank group, aiming to progressively increase the electric and plug-in hybrid component of Drivalia’s fleet.
