Debut on the Goiana circuit
The MotoGP World Championship is ready for its debut on the Goiana circuit for the return to the calendar of the Brazilian GP which has been missing since 2004. The last track to host the Brazilian GP was the Jacarepagua circuit in Rio de Janeiro. In Goiana, however, races were held from 1987 to 1989 and as far as the 500 class is concerned, the roll of honor is nothing short of prestigious given that Wayne Gardner, Eddie Lawson and Kevin Schwantz won in that order.

The weekend will be all to discover and surprises could be the order of the day on a short circuit with nine out of 14 corners to the right. Pedro Acosta arrives in Brazil as the surprise championship leader, Marco Bezzecchi is chasing and Marc Marquez already has to rebuild his ranking after the k.o. in Buriram.
To allow riders and teams to gain some familiarity with this new track, Friday’s sessions will be extended.
The event will be broadcast live in its entirety on Sky Sport MotoGP, on TV8 Sunday’s races will be delayed, while all Saturday sessions from MotoGP Qualifying onwards until the premier class Sprint will also be broadcast live on free-to-air TV.
