Lando Norris had problems well before the start – with the ECU from what is filtering through – Oscar Piastri instead was brought back to the pits while he was lined up on the starting grid.
“We had a problem that had never occurred before – Norris told Sky – that’s why we didn’t know how to solve it. We’ll see if after we’ve done the analysis we’ll reach some conclusions about what happened.”

It was a Sunday to forget in general for the latest world champions because even Max Verstappen was forced to retire while he was in sixth position and unable to attack even the Haas of Oliver Bearman. McLaren and Red Bull, at this moment, are very far from Mercedes and Ferrari.
