Ferrari heading to Barcelona
The Monte Carlo weekend gave Ferrari a second place with Lewis Hamilton: a respectable result, which however cannot satisfy the Maranello Scuderia, especially if the narrow streets of the Principality were the ideal scenario to hide the engine shortcomings of the SF-26 project. Now comes a very different challenge, that of Barcelona, where the Reds have struggled a lot in recent seasons.

The Barcelona-Catalunya circuit is highly representative of the values on track thanks to a combination of high, medium, and low-speed corners, in addition to the long main straight. For Ferrari and its team principal Frederic Vasseur, such a complete track is an opportunity to measure the real gap that separates them from Mercedes, the big favorite for this weekend.

“We arrive in Barcelona after two weekends in which we showed encouraging signs in terms of competitiveness,” commented the Frenchman.
