Finally the debut
Toprak Razgatlıoğlu is ready to debut in MotoGP. After the much talk following the announcement of his signing by the Pramac team, after the significant difficulties that emerged in the tests, but above all after years of wondering what the talented Turk – dominator in Superbike with three World Championships won – would do in the premier class of two wheels. Unfortunately, Razgatlıoğlu’s arrival in MotoGP coincided with the worst period in Yamaha’s recent history, which is experiencing huge problems in making the new M1 with the V4 engine work properly.

These difficulties, combined with the natural adaptation period that will be necessary for Razgatlıoğlu to feel comfortable in MotoGP, suggest a start to the championship that is anything but brilliant for the Turkish champion: “I feel the pressure, but at the same time I am very excited – commented the #7 of the Pramac team previewing the Buriram weekend – I know I still have a lot to learn and that the first races will be difficult, but I can’t wait to face this challenge and I feel ready. It’s a strange but pleasant mix of emotions. It’s incredible to think that I’m about to start my first race in MotoGP“.
Jack thinks positive
Jack Miller, who as a good teammate is trying to help Razgatlıoğlu as much as possible in his adaptation process, is perhaps the most confident of the entire Yamaha squad: “It’s great to finally be back racing. The tests provided us with excellent feedback – commented the Australian – and although we are aware that there are aspects that need to be significantly improved, that is exactly why we are here. Racing is what motivates us and it is also the best development tool we could wish for. Being on track in real racing conditions will help us understand the bike even better and move the project forward”, he explained.
