The manufacturers and Liberty Media have not yet finalized the agreement for 2027 regarding the division of revenues, the equivalent of what in F1 is called the Concorde Agreement, because in the face of the request for extensive availability of the riders for promotional activities designed by Liberty Media, the teams rightly want to cash in when they have to make their most valuable ’employees’ available in a dynamic that will have many more facets and synergies regarding the interaction between Liberty Media and the teams in creating content functional to the growth of the category.

Furthermore, Liberty Media will introduce a ‘minimum wage‘ for riders competing in MotoGP. According to reports from the Spanish publication AS, every protagonist in the premier class must earn at least half a million euros per season.
