The Historic Italian Grand Prix is born
Two hundred and fifty cars that made the history of motor racing, including 100 F1 single-seaters, 18 races spread over eight grids and a tribute to Ferrari’s golden decade (1996-2006): the menu of the first Historic Italian Grand Prix is very rich. For enthusiasts, it is an unmissable event, which will be held at the Mugello circuit from October 2 to 4.

Organized by HVM Racing and the Mugello Circuit, in collaboration with Ferrari (owner of the circuit), the event will feature nine single-seaters designed in Maranello between 1996 and 2006, from the F310 to the 248 F1, which brought home 87 race wins, 203 podiums, and of course the five drivers’ titles of Michael Schumacher and six constructors’ titles.
Drivers who raced with Ferrari during the golden decade will be protagonists – such as Eddie Irvine and Mika Salo – but also colleagues who preceded them, like Gerhard Berger, René Arnoux, Nicola Larini and Stefan Johansson. Two test drivers from the winning decade – Luca Badoer and Andrea Bertolini – will also participate, as well as drivers who would become part of the Scuderia in a few years, like Giancarlo Fisichella and Antonio Giovinazzi.
During the weekend, you can watch the F1 parade, but also a full program of races. In three grids, the single-seaters that made the history of the Circus will be featured: the first (Historic Grand Prix Car Association – HGPCA) is dedicated to pre-1966 F1 cars, the second (Masters Racing Legends) to F1 cars from 1966 to 1985, the third (BOSS GP) to F1, IndyCar and World Series 3.5 cars from 1990 to 2020.
Space will also be dedicated to Formula 2, Formula 3, Formula Ford, Formula Junior cars, prototypes and GT cars. Tickets are on sale on the official Historic Italian Grand Prix website.
