Change of the guard at Pirelli
Mario Isola has over the years become a well-known face of motorsport and Formula 1, as Pirelli’s point of reference in communications with the public and the media, in his capacity as head of motorsport.
With an official statement, Pirelli has made it official that Isola – with the company since 1996 – will leave his job next July 1st, to pursue new professional adventures.

The new head of motorsport
Dario Marrafuschi will be his replacement and from March 1st he will become the head of Pirelli’s motorsport business unit. From March to June there will be a handover period between Isola and Marrafuschi, in order to ensure the best and most effective transition in the role.
Dario Marrafuschi has been with Pirelli since 2008 and worked for a long time in F1 – between 2001 and 2008 with Ferrari – in the Research and Development sector. He will report directly to Giovanni Tronchetti Provera.
