Racing returns to Europe
Ai Ogura was flying towards the podium in the United States when a technical problem forced him to retire. According to rumors, the Japanese rider already has an agreement for 2027 with Yamaha and can therefore race with a clear mind without particular market-related pressures.

“Jerez is one of the European circuits where I have completed the most laps – Ogura declared ahead of the weekend in Andalusia – Aprilia will be strong at Jerez, but the result will depend on us riders”.
For Raul Fernandez, who has already been on the podium in 2026 in Thailand, Jerez will be his first home race. The Spanish rider’s goal is to improve on his 15th place in 2025: “It’s one of the races I care about most, but a year ago I did really badly, I can’t wait to erase that weekend with a good performance.”

Team principal Davide Brivio announced that the Trackhouse team will also have a special livery at Jerez: “It will be a very important race for us. We’ve had a great start to the season with Raul on the podium and Ai with the potential to be on the podium himself. So we’ve had very good performances in the first three rounds and it’s very important to see if this trend can continue once we return to Europe. Jerez will be a good opportunity to test ourselves, to see where we are and if we can continue the positive start to the year. We have a surprise in store for the weekend: you will see the bike in a different color.”
