The great former is still on the market
Christian Horner has not yet defined his future. The former Red Bull team principal was in Jerez for the MotoGP Spanish GP and obviously speculations about his future in the MotoGP world championship have started to circulate also because Horner would follow in the footsteps of Gunther Steiner in the ‘new creature’ branded Liberty Media which, after making F1 ‘explode’, wants to replicate the same scheme also with MotoGP.

Rumors about Horner’s return to F1 have cooled down in recent weeks. The British manager has been linked to Aston Martin and Alpine, but no progress has been made in any direction.

What is certain according to Juan Pablo Montoya is that Horner will not return to Red Bull after the stormy dismissal and the staggering severance pay: “Red Bull’s pride would not allow his return to the team – Montoya told Betpack – for teams like Alpine, Aston or Haas, having a person like Christian could be the right solution in many respects. A good example is Flavio Briatore. Flavio had been retired for about 20 years. He came back and, like it or not, those cars started to work better. He immediately got the agreement with Mercedes. People are needed who are not afraid to make changes.”
