Starts have always been a problem so far for the Mercedes of Andrea Kimi Antonelli and George Russell and in the upgrade package planned for the W17 in Canada there is an ‘invisible’ component that could make more difference than an aerodynamic novelty.
According to the magazine AutoRacer.it, in fact, a new software developed to try to improve the launch of the Mercedes will debut in Montreal, a real weak point so far in a triumphant season. However, McLaren’s growth does not allow Toto Wolff to sleep peacefully and so it will be very interesting to follow the update battle between the two teams running with the same power unit.
