MotoGP, Marquez still has problems with his right arm
The MotoGP weekend at Silverstone did not bring joy to Marc Marquez. Returning from vacation, the Spanish champion collected a ninth place in the Sprint and a seventh position in the British GP: results that he had only partially anticipated, considering the nature of the track, very favorable to Aprilia.

Marquez had hoped, however, to be the best among the Ducatis, and therefore to fight for the podium in the best case. This was not the case: at Silverstone the RS-GP26 dominated, placing two one-two finishes in two races.
The English balance is negative not only for the gap in the standings (Marquez has slipped to -40 from Jorge Martin) but also for the physical condition of the nine-time world champion. Silverstone is a very physical circuit, where the fast corners put the rider to the test: being at 100% is very important, and Marquez was not. In fact, as noted in the latest Inside Ducati, the Spaniard complained about the very poor sensitivity of his right arm: “The rear tire was fine, but physically I wasn’t there. I was at risk of crashing, I had no control over my right arm“.

It should be noted that Marquez, after the Le Mans crash, underwent another operation to remove a screw from an old surgery that was touching the radial nerve, complicating his riding.
Before the Silverstone weekend, he said he felt better physically, but obviously he is not yet at his best. From this point of view, Aragón should represent an easier challenge, having fewer fast corners. And then at MotorLand number 93 has a fantastic record, with eight wins.
