MotoGP Thailand Practice, Marquez chases Aprilia
The World Championship began this morning in Thailand, and Marco Bezzecchi seems to be the initial benchmark after finishing Practice putting four tenths on all the competition.

The first of the pursuers is Marc Marquez, whom everyone expected at the top of the standings after dominating the 2025 World Championship. However, the condition of the shoulder injured in October and the evident progress of Aprilia (also visible with Jorge Martin already in the top-5 in Buriram) give the Spaniard a different status, no longer prey but hunter. A role that the world champion accepts, stating that Bezzecchi will be the clear favorite for the opening weekend.
Marquez’s words
“This first day didn’t go badly, we did our best. It’s true that in the free practice I struggled a little and wasn’t riding at my best, but the feeling improved in the afternoon“, this was Marquez’s comment.

“It’s still not easy for me to go fast right away, but the adrenaline certainly helped. I hope that tomorrow we can take a further step forward in terms of consistency. It certainly won’t be an easy Saturday: we are all really close, except for Bezzecchi who at the moment is on another level, but we know we can do well“. To Sky Sport MotoGP he added: “Bezzecchi is clearly the favorite for pole, Sprint and race. Already last year he was going very strong considering he had just started his journey with Aprilia. We will try to fight for the front row and for the podium in both races, but it won’t be easy. This year, for the moment, I am not the fastest, but the championship is long“.
