Ducati lacks aerodynamic downforce
Marc Marquez covered 80 laps during the test day in Jerez. The nine-time world champion commented on the work done to the microphones of Sky: “In the race I did one lap so I was fresh – he began – it was a fun day because we had many things to try, it’s nice to see that Ducati has worked so much.”

“We need aerodynamic downforce, in left-hand corners which are my strong point I can’t enter fast and carry speed – he added – the parts that Ducati brought gave good responses, but we will have to complete the work with the Barcelona test in three weeks”.
Ducati actually has only one new fairing available to homologate and will have to think carefully before pulling the trigger: “We tried a mix of fairings – explained Marquez – there were improvements, but we have to think carefully about which one to homologate“.

Marc Marquez in the standings is 44 points behind Marco Bezzecchi, the Le Mans weekend will be a very important test in the duel between Ducati and Aprilia which currently sees the Noale factory in control of the situation.
