Charles Leclerc and Ferrari have officially announced the extension of the contract that binds the Monegasque to the Maranello team. Leclerc started racing in F1 with the Red in 2019 and the 2027 World Championship will be the ninth for Leclerc with the Ferrari suit.

Leclerc was not about to expire his contract with the Maranello team, but the Leclerc-Ferrari duo wanted to send a clear message in the week leading up to the Monaco GP: the bond between Leclerc and the Red is stronger than ever. Below are Leclerc’s words.
“I couldn’t be happier to continue the journey with Scuderia Ferrari HP which for me is much more than a team. It is the team I have always loved and dreamed of being part of since I was a child and which, after all these years, has become a second family to me.”
