“Horrible weekend, I have zero feeling with the car – Leclerc explained to the microphones of Sky – I hope tomorrow to lift the weekend a bit. We solved the problems we had yesterday (under braking, ed.) but in Q1 we couldn’t do what I needed, which was to have clean flying laps without traffic to properly bring the tires up to temperature.”
“In Q3 I managed to bring the tire into a good window and the lap was acceptable, but it’s a lap that only earns eighth position – Leclerc added – it’s true that we are all very close and the gap isn’t that big, but finishing eighth is not enough, that’s for sure.”
