The next 24 Hours

From Wednesday 10 to Sunday 14 June, the 94th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans will take place, the fourth round of the 2026 season. The event has always been synonymous with the most historic and anticipated race of the championship, as well as the only one to take place over an entire day. Compared to previous years, drivers will not have to adapt to new technical rules to conquer the top step of the podium, but just like the fans, they will have to get used to a purely aesthetic change.

‘Adieu’ Dunlop

As we already reported last December, the famous Dunlop Bridge, located after the first chicane and built in 1923, has definitively changed its name: from this season, the cars will pass under the new Goodyear Bridge, the American tire manufacturer and sole supplier in the LMGT3 class. The walkway, which allows spectators to go from the paddock to the grandstands located to the left of the chicane leading to the Esses and Tertre Rouge, effectively undergoes no changes, except for the name and logo of the American company itself, which had reached an agreement with the Automobile Club de l’Ouest following the sale of Dunlop by Goodyear to Sumitomo Rubber Industries.

It feels strange to no longer see the Dunlop sponsor on the historic bridge, now renamed Goodyear: “A new chapter begins at Le Mans: the walkway has a new look, but the spirit of racing and its legendary history continue to be a source of inspiration on every lap. Here’s to honoring where we come from and embracing the road ahead”, can be read on Goodyear’s official channels along with the first photos.
