What a scare
The Racing Bulls team experienced a weekend of two halves in Melbourne. On one hand, there was the fantastic points finish by Arvid Lindbland, capable of moving up the championship standings in his first-ever F1 race; on the other hand, however, in Faenza they had to deal with the 13th place obtained by Liam Lawson, also penalized by a disastrous start that saw him remain stuck on the grid and be avoided by millimeters by Franco Colapinto’s Alpine. Without the Argentine’s quick reflexes, today we would be talking about a catastrophic and potentially very dangerous accident at the start of the first race of the season.

Problem solved, and the updates…
Presenting the trip to Shanghai, Racing Bulls team principal Alan Permane returned to what happened in Melbourne and assured that the team understood the reason for the problem and worked hard to solve it. “We analyzed Liam’s problem at the start last week and fully understand the cause, we are certain it will not happen again – commented the English manager – this week in Shanghai we are facing a very different challenge, a Sprint weekend. We will have only one free practice session to test the cars and the power units, but with our colleagues at Red Bull Ford Powertrains I am certain we will be well prepared. We have worked a lot in the simulator”.
