A unique moment for Lando Norris
There is no doubt: for Lando Norris this is a golden moment. First the two Constructors’ World Championships with McLaren, followed closely by winning the Drivers’ title in 2025, with an unexpected comeback over teammate Oscar Piastri and defending against the final attacks from Max Verstappen, leading to a 2026 in which the Woking team overturned the balance of power allowing him to win the last two races between Budapest and Zandvoort. A perfect phase, finally sealed with the almost lifetime contract that puts in black and white until 2030 the love story between the 26-year-old from Bristol and the papaya garage. And that’s not all, because the reigning world champion has also announced the upcoming release of a docuseries about his life and career on Amazon Prime Video.

The announcement of the new docuseries
The project was officially announced by Lando Norris himself on his social channels. Appearing on video with a professional camera in hand, the Englishman explains: “You may have already seen me during this season with this camera and now I have fantastic news to share. We are filming a documentary, in collaboration with Prime Video, that will take you deep into my life, my whole life away from the track and therefore those things you will never see on TV. Perhaps some of you will remember that, during my career, I have filmed personal videos where I tried to take you behind the scenes. But this project is much bigger, much better and this is my chance to share more with you who are part of this journey. You are always there supporting me every weekend and you are practically the reason I do all this”.

When “Lando“ comes out
The docuseries, whose working title is “Lando” will be available to all those who have a subscription to the streaming platform of the Amazon giant. It is produced by Box To Box Films, the same production company that rewrote the grammar of documentary-sports series with “Formula 1: Drive to Survive” which is the Netflix product that every year tells – in a somewhat dramatized way and not always appreciated by the most hardcore fans – the events of the previous F1 World Championship, and which has achieved unprecedented public success, especially in the USA. The McLaren driver, who owes part of his global fame also to the success of the dynamics told in Drive to Survive, is obviously actively involved in the project.

The docuseries about Lando Norris’s life fits into a Prime Video catalog already quite rich in documentary series about the world of motorsports, from “MotoGP Unlimited”, the Drive to Survive about the premier two-wheel series which however stopped after the first season, to “Formula E Driver”, which tells the electric World Championship from the point of view of some protagonists, not forgetting “Le Mans, Racing is Everything” from 2017 and the series that most closely resemble the experiment retraced with Norris. It starts with “Fernando”, which retraces Alonso’s sabbatical year away from F1 between Le Mans and Dakar and then his return to the paddock with Alpine, “Sainz, Living to Compete” about the exploits of Carlos Sainz Sr., and “Marquez, All in” which tells the physical difficulties of the MotoGP champion after the 2020 injury. The release of the series on Lando Norris is scheduled for 2027.
