Steiner criticizes Max Verstappen
Since he no longer holds the role of team principal of Haas – that is, since the end of 2023, Guenther Steiner has often given interviews to Formula 1 sites and podcasts in which he analyzed the current state of the category.
Recently on the Red Flag podcast, Steiner focused on Max Verstappen – joking about his criticisms of the regulations: “Verstappen was a bit happier because he got on the podium. I imagine that if he had won he would have been even happier and would have called those rules the best ever.”

…and Jos does not appreciate it
Guenther Steiner’s words bounced from site to site, becoming viral and shared on social media. And it was precisely in a post from a page dedicated to motorsport that Jos Verstappen came across it, who could not help but dedicate a thought – in his usual style – to Steiner. Not exactly a caress or a compliment.
