MotoGP Hungary, Practice Report
A supersonic Pedro Acosta demolishes the competition at Balaton Park, snatching the best Practice time in 1:36.827. The Shark confirms his competitiveness on a track where he also shone in 2025 (here he achieved one of his best seasonal results, finishing second). It is, after all, a stop&go track, which enhances his braking qualities: the difference he imposes in the third sector is incredible, while the gap to the other KTMs (the second, Enea Bastianini’s, is over a second behind) is no longer surprising.

Only Fabio Di Giannantonio, thanks to his last time attack, manages to stay within half a second of the KTM Spaniard. The Roman makes a step forward compared to this morning, especially in braking. The Aprilias, on the other hand, confirm their speed, although in the afternoon the Trackhouse bikes perform better, both in the top-5 with Raul Fernandez and Ai Ogura, compared to the official team’s RS-GP26s; Marco Bezzecchi settles for sixth place, with Jorge Martin also in Q2 with a gap of almost 1″.
Marc Marquez (seventh at +0.733) will certainly be fighting for pole position, Diogo Moreira continues to surprise, while Jack Miller puts a Yamaha in Q2. In great difficulty, however, is Francesco Bagnaia, who was long in the back and only 14th at the checkered flag: “Pecco” also has some regrets, having finished his lap with a big save at the chicane of turns 12-13. The two-time MotoGP world champion will start from Q1.

The Schedule and Timetable
MotoGP returns to the track tomorrow at 10:10 AM with the second free practice session, followed by Qualifying (Q1 at 10:50 AM, Q2 at 11:15 AM) and the Sprint at 4 PM. On Sunday, the GP will start at 2 PM. Here are all the times and TV information.
