Haas in Monaco
Having left Montreal, Formula 1 will stop this weekend at the historic street circuit of Monaco, where Haas will try to bring home more world championship points after the 10th place achieved by Bearman in Canada. The performances of the American team in the Principality have been mostly negative, although in the last edition Esteban Ocon crossed the finish line in seventh position.

A special weekend
During his career, the Frenchman has been the protagonist of good performances, even reaching the podium in 2023, the year he took 3rd place at the wheel of the Alpine. The current season, on the other hand, has not started positively for the Frenchman, with the tenth position in Suzuka being the best placement achieved so far: “I can’t wait for this weekend to arrive, because Monaco is always one of the highlights of the season for teams and drivers – he commented – personally, I have beautiful memories linked to this circuit and it’s fantastic to race so close to France, with friends and family coming to the track to support me every year. Racing on the historic streets of Monaco is really special and it’s something every driver dreams of doing since childhood. The setting is unique, the circuit demands absolute precision and the confidence to get close to the walls is what really makes the difference. As a team, we will work hard to prepare ourselves as best as possible for the very important qualifying on Saturday and we hope to have a good race on Sunday.”

Hunting for the first Monegasque points
12th last year in his first Monaco, Bearman arrives motivated and eager to enter the top 10, a milestone already reached this season in almost all the races contested: “The Monaco Grand Prix is a challenge for both drivers and teams, because you have to know how to set up the car for the bumpy and low-speed circuit, while at the same time trying to get the maximum downforce possible. Like in Montreal, it’s another circuit where it’s essential to have confidence and get as close as possible to the walls to make the most of every lap. Qualifying here in Monaco is much more important compared to other races, but honestly, this is part of the unique challenge of this weekend, it’s unmatched.”
