From here comes the inspiration for the new special helmet, dedicated to the flair and great legend of Valentino Rossi.

Valentino Rossi has always been good with helmets, also thanks to the creativity of Aldo Drudi: Antonelli knows he cannot reach that level, but the Doctor remains undoubtedly one of the references to be inspired by in this regard.
Antonelli and the evocation of Valentino and the legendary Mugello 2002
On Thursday evening Kimi Antonelli showed off his tricolor helmet with many references – in an ironic tone – to some clichés of the Bel Paese inspired by the design that Valentino Rossi wore in one of the most iconic races of his career, sealed by pole position and victory: the Mugello 2002.

Apparently the two helmets look different from each other: Valentino’s partially traced the graphics of his father Graziano, with the tricolor on a white background. The details that most refer to the champion from Tavullia are the 22 “caricatures” that wrap longitudinally on Antonelli’s 2026 version. From cappuccino to pizza, from mandolin to bidet, up to the sun and moon symbols typical of Rossi. On the back, finally, the drawing of Antonelli himself clinging to Valentino’s shoulders.
“It was a special wish of mine, to be able to race with a helmet inspired by Valentino’s – Antonelli commented – When they proposed the Mugello 2002 helmet I immediately understood it was the right one. Aldo Drudi did a fantastic job adapting it in this version for this year’s home race. Thanks to Valentino for this special opportunity, it is an honor.”
