Presented the ‘city’ track
The official Adelaide circuit, set to host the Australian Grand Prix starting in 2027, was presented today by the Premier of South Australia Peter Malinauskas, marking a key milestone on the path to the realization of the first MotoGP race in the world in the center of a city.

The circuit, estimated to cost 96 million dollars, is the result of months of close collaboration between MotoGP, the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM), and Adelaide partners, and has been designed to ensure world-class races in compliance with the highest modern safety standards.
The immersive presentation, which projected a 360-degree vision of the projects to those present, represented a significant moment in the journey that will lead Adelaide to write a new chapter in the history of this sport.

Located on the roads that first hosted F1 in Adelaide, the circuit will be unique in its kind in MotoGP: the event will combine the atmosphere of a great festival with the spectacle of the most important motorcycle championship in the world, in the heart of one of Australia’s main event destinations.
The circuit, 4.13 km long with 15 turns, reinterprets the iconic Adelaide Formula 1 track for a new era, bringing back to life legendary sections such as Stag Corner, Rundle Road, Brewery Bend, and Dequetteville Terrace. Simulations indicate that MotoGP bikes will reach speeds up to 343 km/h, with lap times of about 1 minute and 26 seconds.
