Debuting is the new DR 6 Stilnovo, the latest SUV in the DR Automobiles range, which arrives on the Italian market with a slogan somewhat like Cecco Angiolieri: «If I were fire, I would light up the road. Unleash the power. Dominate every curve.» These are indeed the words that accompany the model on the official website, and they are enough to understand the tone. Here, maximum personality is sought.
Measuring 4,515 mm long, 1,865 mm wide and 1,680 mm high, the DR 6 Stilnovo has the dimensions of a “significant” SUV. And the design is enhanced by “through light” LED headlights, tinted windows, lower protective plate and dual exhaust tips. Those who want to push the look even further can add the Sport Pack for 2,000 euros: two-tone roof, black details, 19-inch wheels and no roof bars.
Inside, space is the protagonist. The 2,656 mm wheelbase and a trunk that goes from 475 to 1,415 liters say one thing only: there is room for everyone. But it’s not just volume. Leather seats with electric adjustment, single-zone automatic climate control, 10-inch digital cluster and 12.3-inch touchscreen create an environment where technology and comfort coexist effortlessly. The 360-degree HD view with DVR completes the picture.
The technology
Under the hood beats a 1,494 cc direct injection turbo heart. In the petrol version, it delivers 180 hp and 300 Nm of torque, with declared consumption of 8.08 l/100 km and emissions of 178 g/km. Those who prefer dual-fuel can choose the petrol-LPG variant: 178 hp, emissions reduced to 158 g/km and consumption of 9.4 l/100 km. In both cases, the transmission is a 7-speed DCT with Sport mode. The rear suspension is independent multi-link but electronic stability and traction control are not missing.

Safety equipment and prices
Adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, frontal collision warning and hill start and descent assist form an ADAS package that anticipates, corrects and intervenes. “Safety is in the character,” emphasizes the manufacturer.
Price lists start from 30,900 euros for petrol and 32,900 euros for petrol-LPG. However, DR offers promotional prices at 26,900 and 28,900 euros respectively. VB
