Maserati celebrates a new expression of the Fuoriserie program with the presentation of a GT2 Stradale custom-built for an important collector from Taiwan. The project takes shape thanks to a co-creation process that involved the client, the Modena team, and the style center, transforming into a bespoke model that pays homage to the legendary MC12, among the most iconic Maseratis in recent history. The result is the GT2 Stradale “Tribute to MC12”, which reinterprets the racing heritage in a contemporary key through a reinterpretation of the Leggenda livery, already appreciated in the special series of the MC20 with the same name.

A special Maserati GT2 Stradale
The car’s chromatic characterization combines the sophisticated shade of Digital Mint Matte with Nero Essenza of the bodywork, with Giallo Avia Pervia finishes that immediately recall the colors of the Vitaphone Racing team’s MC12 GT1. It is an immediate historical reference: the MC12 GT1 achieved 3 victories (2005, 2006 and 2008) and 2 second places (2007 and 2009) at the famous 24 Hours of Spa, leaving an indelible mark in the history of the Belgian classic. The customization is not limited to the paint: the front Trident and on the pillars, the Maserati rear badge finished in glossy yellow, and the Maserati Fuoriserie logo on the rear fenders echo the same chromatic soul of the livery. Furthermore, the Maserati signature in Giallo Avia Pervia stands out on the imposing carbon rear wing, strengthening the link with the motorsport DNA.
One-off that pays homage to the MC12
To reinforce the absolute exclusivity of the “Tribute to MC12” there is an absolute first for the GT2 Stradale: the aerodynamic elements in glossy carbon fiber – from the four flaps on the bonnet to the front vents, from the rear diffusers to the wing – feature a high-gloss finish that enhances its technical character and artisanal care. The exterior look is completed with a carbon-ceramic braking system with yellow calipers, single-nut wheels in an anodized black finish, and the Performance Plus package.
The interiors are also refined
The cockpit also follows the same philosophy: black Alcantara racing seats with the Trident embroidered in yellow on the headrests, four-point seat belts in the same shade, and yellow stitching that runs across the steering wheel, dashboard, central tunnel, and door panels, in addition to the carbon fiber interior package. To complete the circle of uniqueness, the dedicated “Tribute to MC12” badge, expressly requested by the client, signs the interior as a symbol of an unrepeatable project.
