Will Ferrari dance the Macarena?
Today marks the start of the Hungarian GP weekend with the first two free practice sessions on Friday. There is great anticipation to see the new Ferrari Macarena rear wing for high-downforce tracks in action, and in FP1, World Championship leader Andrea Kimi Antonelli will not be on track because the Italian driver will hand over his seat to Frederik Vesti as part of the free practice sessions designated for young drivers.

Antonelli has so far won six of the ten GPs contested. Among the Italian driver’s most beautiful victories is undoubtedly that of Monaco, a weekend on the eve of which Ferrari had been tipped as favourite given the chassis quality of the SF-26.
After excellent performances on theoretically unfavourable circuits like Silverstone and Spa, the Maranello Scuderia is expected to deliver a great performance at the Hungaroring, but according to Riccardo Patrese, his compatriot will still come out on top.

“Everyone says Hungary is a Ferrari circuit with low-speed corners, but Monte Carlo was also a Ferrari circuit with low-speed corners and Antonelli won the race – Patrese’s words, reached by New Betting Sites – so I’m not sure Ferrari can be considered the favourite. Everyone says it’s a Ferrari circuit; I say it could be, but let’s not forget that Mercedes is also strong in slow corners. My podium is: Kimi, Hamilton and Leclerc.”
