Difficult period
After the success at Mugello at the end of May, Marco Bezzecchi went through a nightmare month and a half that culminated on Saturday morning with the accident in Q2 at Sachsenring which caused him a complete and displaced fracture of the left clavicle. On Sunday the Rimini native was operated on by the team of Dr. Giuseppe Porcellini in Sassuolo and the surgery was successfully completed.
Today Aprilia announced that Bez has returned home and that he will soon be ready to start the rehabilitation process with the goal of returning to the saddle on the weekend of August 8-9 for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone.

Bezzecchi, among other things, was supposed to be present on Tuesday, July 14 at the Farnesina, received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Antonio Tajani for the event “Moto d’Italia – Culture beyond the track,” which also includes interventions by Massimo Rivola, CEO of Aprilia Racing, and Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati Motor Holding group. Obviously, Aprilia’s #72, due to the injury, will not be physically present at the event but will be connected via video call.
