Renault Bridger Concept, new showcar arriving

Renault continues its offensive in international markets by presenting the name of the new show car: Bridger Concept. This preview represents a clear signal of the ambitious global goals of the Diamond brand, anticipating a future production urban SUV with revisited proportions to meet the needs of the growing number of families living in cities. The new Bridger Concept surprises with its bold and powerful design: sharp lines and a marked stage presence, while maintaining a length of less than 4 meters that does not penalize interior roominess.

The show car aims to demonstrate that compact dimensions and comfort can coexist, offering practical solutions and a space designed for daily use in urban contexts. The name Bridger recalls simple yet evocative images and lends itself to becoming a powerful and high-impact brand. Like a bridge, the name evokes robustness and solidity, qualities reflected in the bold shapes and strong personality of this new show car. At the same time, it also suggests the promise of human connections that can be created on board during journeys. All information about the new Bridger Concept will be revealed on March 10, on the occasion of the announcement of the Renault Group’s futuREeady strategic plan.

“With Renault Bridger, we have enriched the family of names derived from English terms. Starting from the word ‘bridge’ (connection, bond), we added the identifying suffix ‘ER’. The name Bridger follows in the footsteps of Renault Duster, explained Sylvia dos Santos, Head of Naming Strategy at the Global Marketing Department of the Renault Brand. “A powerful, robust, and versatile name, it is perfect for embodying the new show car, an urban SUV. And to start writing a new page of our international offensive”, she added.
