A rescue ADUO for Ferrari?
In recent weeks, Ferrari had not hidden its expectation of being in an ADUO band that would allow it to significantly work on its power unit. Both Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton have repeatedly emphasized how frustrating it was on the straights at the start of this championship.
Monaco has taken place in the meantime, but officially the FIA has not yet communicated the ADUO – despite the first seasonal pronouncement on the matter having been set before the race in the Principality.

An aggressive Red: first power unit updated already in Austria?
Recent rumors from Motorsport have been confirmed by the Germans at Auto, Motor und Sport: Ferrari has an aggressive two-phase plan to revise its power unit, the first of which will take place in a few weeks.
Journalist Tobias Gruner explained that the first of the two updates to the Ferrari engine will be fitted already in Austria – in two GPs – on the weekend of June 28.

“In recent weeks, Maranello has accelerated the pace. The first update is on the test bench and work is already underway on the second phase of development,” the German website wrote, adding: “The final phase is instead scheduled for September, after the summer break.”
While awaiting official confirmation, it is common opinion that Ferrari will at least be in the 4 to 6% ADUO band, which allows for two modifications to the internal combustion engine.
