Leclerc hit the wall at the exit of Tabac
No front row for the Ferraris in the Monaco GP Qualifiers. The SF-26s can rely on a ‘slingshot’ start, but it won’t be easy to exploit it with so little space.
Andrea Kimi Antonelli and Max Verstappen beat the Ferraris. Furthermore, Charles Leclerc suffers a defeat in Q3 in Monaco from a teammate for the first time.
Hamilton, in fact, preceded Leclerc who made a mistake in the Massenet-Casino section in the first run in Q3. Then, in the end, he completed a good lap, finding himself forced to throw his heart over the obstacle in the very last attempt in pursuit of pole position which had been taken from him by Verstappen first and Antonelli later.

Leclerc lost control of his Ferrari at Tabac, hitting the wall both on the right and then ‘bouncing’ to the left. The Monegasque driver nevertheless brought the damaged SF-26 to Parc Fermé and tomorrow will have to chase a miracle in the GP to repeat the success achieved in 2024.
