Second place for Acosta
Nothing to do for Pedro Acosta. The KTM rider had to surrender in the Hungarian GP Sprint in front of an irresistible Marc Marquez.

Both Marquez and Acosta started very well at the lights out, but Marquez immediately put two seconds between himself and his future Ducati teammate in two laps. The nine-time world champion had no physical problems in this Sprint and, indeed, Acosta in the end suffered a bit from Bezzecchi’s closing in, without having to struggle to defend second place.
“Marquez’s pace at the beginning in the first laps was impressive – Acosta said at the end of the race – we must be satisfied because we worked a lot and we got on the podium. We must try to improve further for tomorrow”.
